Job Purpose:
The Lead Data Analyst will lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality analytical reports, dashboards, and insights that enable data-driven decisions across the business.
The Lead Data Analyst translates business needs into analytical solutions, manages reporting workflows, and guides analysts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and value in all outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic:
Translate business needs into data strategy and reporting priorities.
Work with Head of Advanced Analytics to define KPIs and measurement frameworks.
Recommend data infrastructure improvements to support analytics scalability.
Contribute to data governance and quality assurance frameworks.
Initiatives:
Lead development of dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reports.
Partner with business units to define metrics, reporting logic, and use cases.
Conduct deep-dives and ad hoc analyses to support key initiatives.
Ensure alignment of reporting outputs with business goals.
Operational:
Oversee the work of analysts: task allocation, reviews, and delivery tracking.
Manage data pipelines and ensure consistent, reliable reporting.
Conduct QA/QC on outputs and maintain documentation standards.
Support training and onboarding of new analysts.
Promote a culture of data literacy and analytics enablement.

Perform deep-dives and root-cause analysis.
Support business decision-making with insights.
Team Oversight:
Supervise analysts and assign tasks.
Provide technical support and mentorship.
Manage delivery timelines.
Quality Assurance:
Review data outputs for accuracy.
Ensure consistent documentation and formatting.
Maintain data pipelines and error resolution.
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies/ Publication:
Certification in Business Analytics or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
SQL and Data Warehousing certifications.
(Preferred) Google Data Analytics Certificate or equivalent.
Work Experience Required:
5+ years in data analysis, with proven leadership in analytics projects.
