Job Primary Purpose
The main purpose of this position is to contribute to teaching and learning, research and innovation, engagement, leadership, and administration at the discipline, school, and faculty levels.

The provision of some leadership at the module level.

Provision of theoretically informed and pedagogically sound teaching.
Research
Research and the production of accredited research outputs.
Postgraduate supervision and graduation of Masters' students in the minimum time.

Engagement, through which knowledge and skills are used to benefit the discipline/profession and the community.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.
Experience with the facilitation of learning, possibly as a Tutor and preferably some teaching experience.
Experience in supervision of undergraduate or postgraduate research projects.
Some evidence of research activity such as published papers or conference attendance, may be associated with postgraduate research.
Key Competencies
A sound knowledge of the theory and application of ICT discipline.
An appreciation of modern theories of teaching and learning in Higher Education and some skills as a tutor.
Research supervision of undergraduate degrees.
A good record of active participation in and leadership of learned societies.
