Key Responsibilities
Manage securities documentation and support credit transactions
Draft and review loan agreements, guarantees, and legal instruments
Provide legal advisory and support due diligence activities
Supervise litigation and coordinate external solicitors
Oversee Board and Committee secretarial functions
Handle regulatory filings and ensure full compliance
Manage legal risks, IP, and regulatory engagements
Lead and support team performance and delivery
Qualifications & Experience:
LL.B. and B.L. with a valid practicing certificate
7 years minimum post-call experience (banking, financial services, or corporate practice)
Strong experience in banking documentation, compliance, and litigation management
Prior leadership experience is an added advantage
Membership of professional bodies (NBA, ICSAN, CIBN, CIArb, SCGN) is desirable
