Job Specialization
Support board related matters as well as ensure effective compliance with process and procedures on legal transactions with the aim of reducing the existing litigation portfolio and attenuating potential legal exposures and risks amongst other things.
Handle litigation and other forms of dispute resolution involving the company including liaising with approved external counsel.
Provide support in drafting/adapting legal documents for effectively resolving all matters revolving around litigation.
Support in monitoring all Litigation matters, ensuring effective follow up where necessary and favorable conclusion of court cases.
Identify and ensure an up-to-date statutory filings process at Corporate Affairs Commission
Requirement:
First degree in Law and a BL from the Nigerian Law School.
A postgraduate degree in Law and / or relevant certification will be an added advantage.
4 - 6 yrs post-NYSC/call legal work experience either from a reputable law firm or within the legal department of a reputable and structured business environment
Knowledge of Corporate Governance, Litigation, Legal Case Handling & Analysis, Legal Drafting, and Legal Advisory
