Position Overview
Our client is looking for a motivated, energetic and 100% trainable individual to join their team as a Lettings Assistant, with the opportunity to develop into a fully qualified Property Portfolio Manager with their own portfolio.
The successful candidate will receive training and support with the goal of building a long-term career within the company
Starting Salary: R9,000 basic + Commission
Career & Earning Potential
Once fully qualified and managing their own portfolio, the remuneration structure will include:
Basic salary
Potential earnings of approximately R14,000 ± upwards, with no fixed earning ceiling
Fuel allowance
Cell phone allowance
Percentage of commission generated from the managed portfolio
Minimum Requirements:
Gr 12 (Matric)
Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
Strong marketing and sales ability.
Must be 100% trainable, adaptable and willing to learn.
Due to the nature of the property industry, occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required.
Advantageous:
Experience with PayProp or similar property rental management systems.
Previous experience in property rentals, property administration or real estate.
Full Status Property Practitioner / Agent qualification.
Previous sales experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Handling maintenance queries and coordinating communication between property owners, tenants and contractors.
Managing maintenance requests through the CRM / job card system.
Conducting property inspections.
Handling all administrative and documentation requirements relating to property rentals.
Preparing and managing mandates, contracts, FICA documentation and other rental-related paperwork.
Assisting with rental account enquiries and resolving basic account queries.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
Communicating professionally with owners, tenants, contractors and service providers.
Managing daily tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
Assisting with general property management and lettings duties as required.
Working as part of a team while developing the ability to work independently.
