Maintenance Associate – Electrical/Rewinding

Responsibilties Carry out routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electric motors and related equipment. Dismantle defective electric motors, remove damaged windings, install replacement coils, and carry out insulation and electrical testing. Identify electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments and repair faulty components. Help minimise equipment breakdowns and ensure machinery operates efficiently. Follow electrical safety procedures, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and isolate equipment safely before maintenance. Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, equipment faults, and materials used. Work with engineers, technicians, and other maintenance personnel to resolve equipment problems.
