Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning: Developing and implementing preventive maintenance procedures and schedules to minimize breakdowns.
Operational Oversight: Supervising maintenance technicians, delegating tasks, and conducting site inspections to identify repair needs.
Budgeting & Inventory: Managing maintenance budgets, controlling inventory of spare parts, and negotiating with contractors or vendors.
Safety Compliance: Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to health and safety regulations (OSHA) and conducting safety audits.
Emergency Response: Staying on-call to address emergency repairs and reduce operational downtime.
