Job Summary

The Sales Manager - Animal Feeds will be responsible for driving sales growth, market penetration, and customer relationships for poultry and fish feed products across Nigeria. The role requires a results-driven professional with deep market knowledge and proven experience in managing feed sales, distributors, and key accounts.

Key Responsibilities


Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and market share targets for poultry and fish feed.
Manage and grow distributor, dealer, and key farm accounts across assigned regions.
Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and high-potential customers.
Build strong relationships with large poultry farms, fish farms, integrators, and commercial producers.
Lead, coach, and motivate a regional sales team to improve performance and coverage.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and customer feedback.
Coordinate with technical, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely supply and customer satisfaction.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports.
Support product positioning, demonstrations, and farmer engagement programs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, credit terms, and ethical sales practices.


Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor's degree in animal science, Agriculture, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
7 - 10 years of proven sales experience in animal feeds, with strong exposure to poultry and fish feed.
Demonstrated success in managing distributor networks and key accounts in Nigeria.
In-depth understanding of the Nigerian poultry and aquaculture feed markets.
Experience leading and developing a sales team .

Sound understanding of feed formulations, farm economics, and customer pain points.
