The purpose of this position is to manage and lead the maintenance function within the Processing Department, ensuring optimal equipment reliability, plant availability, and operational efficiency through effective maintenance planning, asset management, and compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.
Requirements
Degree or Trade
Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
Experience in working with senior management
People management experience
Business English: Fluent
Computer literacy (Advanced)
Code 08 Driver's license
Travel off-site/overnight stay

Duties and Responsibilities
Manage maintenance function at branch and/or area of responsibility
Ensure optimal maintenance approach and improvement techniques e.g. OMM, RCM
Ensure uninterrupted supply of energy and services to area of responsibility
Manage maintenance function for area of responsibility
Ensure that equipment in area of responsibility complies with safety requirements
Plan and execute maintenance plan for all aspects that fall under area of responsibility
Establish continuous improvement practices and drive improvement within area of responsibility
Manage the budget
Optimise and reduce the maintenance cost
Manage and reduce the electricity, steam, water, etc. consumption within area of responsibility
Manage engineering stock admission for parts required for area of responsibility
Manage the maintenance fixed cost budget for cost centers falling within area of responsibility
Assist in managing the capex budget for items falling within area of responsibility
Manage staff
Ensure optimal utilisation of directly reporting staff
Apply consistent discipline
Train and develop staff
Conduct meetings and ensure effective communication to all
Liaise and communicate with management in all departments
Provide leadership and training to artisans
Set objectives, manage and measure performance of subordinates
