Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Marine Asset Coordinator to oversee the coordination, inspection, maintenance, and integrity of marine assets utilized in tanker operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring all marine equipment remains safe, reliable, and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of marine assets, maintenance planning, contractor coordination, and safety management while supporting efficient terminal and tanker operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the inspection, maintenance, and integrity management of marine assets used in tanker operations.
Ensure all maintenance activities are executed in accordance with the Company's Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards.
Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Prepare comprehensive work packages for planned and repetitive maintenance activities.
Develop and update standard operating procedures and maintenance manuals for routine maintenance tasks.
Estimate labour, material, and spare parts requirements for maintenance activities.
Revise maintenance schedules to accommodate emergency repairs and operational priorities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and asset documentation.
Coordinate maintenance activities with internal maintenance teams, contractors, service providers, and equipment vendors.
Develop preventive maintenance plans aligned with the terminal's maintenance philosophy and asset reliability objectives.
Organize and coordinate daily and weekly maintenance planning meetings with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marine Engineering, 2
Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in marine terminal operations, offshore facilities, tanker operations, or marine asset maintenance.
Experience in maintenance planning and asset management within the oil and gas or maritime industry is highly desirable.
Professional certifications in maintenance planning, marine engineering, or asset management will be an added advantage.
