JOB PURPOSE
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all marketing and promotional activities of Greyfield Hotel & Apartments to drive room occupancy, food and beverage sales, conference and event bookings, and overall brand visibility. The role focuses on increasing revenue across all outlets while maintaining the hotel's brand standards and market positioning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement annual and monthly marketing plans aligned with the hotel's revenue targets.
Identify target markets for rooms, restaurants, conference hall, leisure facilities (swimming pool and gym), and special events.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
Sales & Revenue Generation
Drive room sales through corporate, leisure, group, and walk-in markets.
Promote and increase patronage of the two restaurants, including themed nights, promotions, and special menus.
Market the conference hall for meetings, trainings, weddings, and social events.
Support revenue generation from ancillary facilities such as the swimming pool and gym.
Work closely with Operations and Front Office to maximise occupancy and ADR.
Digital Marketing & Brand Management
Manage the hotel's online presence across social media, Google, and online travel agencies (OTAs)
Ensure accurate and attractive content (photos, videos, promotions) is published regularly.
Monitor and respond professionally to online reviews and guest feedback.
Protect and enhance the Greyfield Hotel & Apartments brand image.
Corporate & Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and government organisations.
Negotiate corporate rates and contracts in line with management approval.
Organise sales calls, familiarisation visits, and property inspections.
Promotions, Advertising & Events
Plan and execute marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and special events.
Coordinate advertising activities, including print, radio, online, and outdoor media where applicable.
Support promotional activities for festive periods, weekends, and low-demand periods.
Budgeting & Reporting
Prepare and manage the marketing budget effectively.
Track marketing performance and return on investment (ROI).
Submit regular marketing and sales performance reports to management.
Collaboration & Compliance
Work closely with Operations, Food & Beverage, Front Office, and Finance departments.
Ensure all marketing activities comply with hotel policies and brand standards.
Support management in achieving overall business objectives.
