Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate, qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary School team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Mathematics lessons, developing students' mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills, preparing students for internal and external examinations, assessing students' progress and creating a stimulating learning environment.
Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education/Mathematics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) where applicable as an added advantage.
At least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
Experience teaching within a Cambridge Associate School is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of the Secondary Mathematics curriculum and effective teaching practices.
Experience preparing students for relevant internal and external examinations.
Ability to make Mathematics practical, engaging and relatable to students.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer and digital literacy skills.
A strong commitment to student growth, academic excellence and the school's values.
