Job Description / Key Responsibilities Team Lead
Design and implement systems to track performance, measure results, and generate evidence for decision-making.
Develop and operationalize a comprehensive M&E framework aligned with programme objectives.
Define clear indicators, baselines, and targets for all the project components.
Establish indicator reference sheets detailing definitions, data sources, and frequency.
Ensure data collection tools capture gender, age, and vulnerability-disaggregated data.
Conduct periodic PDMs, assessments, surveys, regular field monitoring visits and use monitoring checklist to assess quality, participation and adherence to plans.
Develop and write high-quality activity, mid-term, end of project reports, including summaries, recommendations, and action plans.
Contribute to the drafting of the comprehensive final report, including documenting key findings, participant feedback, and lessons learned.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Data Science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in M&E, preferably within NGO, international development or donor-funded programmes.
Candidates should have strong experience in results-based monitoring, indicator tracking, data collection and analysis, field verification, data quality assurance and reporting.
Proficiency in KoboToolbox/ODK, Microsoft Excel and other data analysis/visualization tools is required, while experience with Power BI, SPSS, STATA or similar software is an advantage.
Experience in third-party monitoring, social protection, cash transfers or Social Register programmes is highly desirable. Previous experience in Borno/Northeast Nigeria is an added advantage
