Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving mechanical systems and products while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using CAD software
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM)
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tolerance analysis
Collaborate with electrical, production, and quality teams on product development
Conduct design reviews and implement improvements
Support prototype development, testing, and validation
Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing and field issues
Manage design documentation and version control
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
Experience:
3 - 7 years of experience in mechanical design engineering (entry-level candidates may be considered)
Experience in product development or industrial design is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar)
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and engineering standards
Familiarity with FEM/FEA tools is an advantage
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
