Medical Specialist Grade 1 to 3 (Internal Medicine) at Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness

REQUIREMENTS:


Minimum educational qualification: Appropriate qualification that allows registration with HPCSA as Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine.
Registration with HPCSA as Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine
Grade 1: None / Grade 2: 5 years / Grade 3: 10 years experience
Valid (Code B/EB or higher) driver's license. Participate in after-hours call system.
Proven competency in managing Internal Medicine cases independently
Proven knowledge to perform special investigations including Echocardiography, Bronchoscopy, Holter ECG, Bone marrow Biopsy and Ultrasound-guided Biopsies

Ensure delivery of comprehensive, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality healthcare services
Promote positive patient experience aligned with Value System
Promote and sustain strong clinical governance
Create and support conducive learning environment for students
Provide outreach and support services to strengthen healthcare delivery
