Job Description


This role is ideal for a technically sound engineer who can ensure MEP installations meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting timely project delivery.


Key Responsibilities


Supervise all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across multiple construction sites.
Review MEP drawings and specifications to ensure installations comply with approved designs.
Coordinate MEP contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Monitor installation quality and ensure adherence to engineering and project standards.
Ensure timely execution and completion of all MEP works in line with project schedules.
Review and approve MEP materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Identify and resolve MEP-related technical issues promptly.
Supervise installation activities, testing, commissioning, and system handover.
Prepare accurate project-specific MEP progress reports.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, industry standards, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements.

Testing and commissioning success: 100%
Snag resolution within 3 working days

Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in MEP engineering within the construction industry.
Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is required.
Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) is required.
Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for residential and commercial developments.
Experience in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting MEP installations.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in engineering software and project reporting tools is an added advantage.
