Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Relevant tertiary qualification, National Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Mining).
+3 years' experience in a manager role
Manage and oversee day-to-day SHHEQ functions within your area of responsibility, ensuring all activities align with legal and company standards.
Computer Literate (MS Office Suite, specifically excel)
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Legal/Operational compliance knowledge
Administrative Skills - Prioritising Skills - Conflict Management skills - Team Management Skills.
Planning, Organising, Leading and Controlling skills are essential.
Surface blasting Ticket will be advantageous
Experiencing working on different Mobile crushing equipment is a must.
Must be able to do costing and understand company finances.
Experience working on Metso, Finlay, Terex, Astec/Osborn crushing and screening equipment will be advantageous.
Strong Leadership skills
Proven track record of successes in plant operations, safety and production.
Valid drivers' license
RSA Id document
Be prepared to work after hours when needed.
Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Will be able to work independently as well in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
Oversee,coordinate and optimize daily mobile crushing and screening operations.
Manage subordinates, which includes shift handovers, timesheet management, log sheets, over inspections and employee relations.
Analyse, process and act on information.
Develop subordinates by continuously improving the knowledge of team and conducting on the job training.
Plan activities in accordance with production requirements and allocate resources as required.
Liaise with the client
Liaise and synchronise plant maintenance schedules/activities with engineering sections.
Continuously monitor process efficiency and quality parameters.
Ensure adherence and implementation of SHE policies and procedures.
Willing to work overtime and be available for callouts should the need arise.
Monitor operational costs,manage site budgets and do forecasting
Reporting daily and monthly production and financial KPI's
Making sure that critical spares are always available on site.
