PURPOSE OF JOB

The Modern Trade Key Accounts Manager focuses on the development of the on-trade strategy and execution. The role develops and sustains strategic relationships with the company\'s largest and most critical on trade accounts, ensuring that mutual business goals are achieved. This role involves driving sales growth, and maximizing profitability through tailored solutions and effective negotiation. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service, align with corporate objectives, and identify opportunities for expansion and improvement in the on-trade channel, ultimately contributing to the company\'s market leadership and long-term success.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


Oversee the affairs for the on-trade channel for prime SBU, for the effective management and coordination of all business activities.
Develop and implement comprehensive on trade account strategies tailored to key clients\' needs to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and ongoing business, fostering trust and collaboration for mutual growth.
Create detailed sales plans for national key accounts to guide sales activities and objectives, ensuring targeted growth and alignment with overall sales strategies and company goals.
Achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within key accounts, maximizing the company\'s profitability and market share.
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to deliver integrated solutions that meet key clients\' needs, ensuring seamless execution and enhancing client satisfaction.
Track and analyse key account performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management for informed decision-making, enabling the company to adapt strategies and improve outcomes.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adapting account strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge and capitalize on market shifts.
Manage the budget for key account activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment, supporting the company\'s financial health and strategic initiatives.
Contribute to the overall strategic planning process by providing insights and recommendations based on key account performance and market dynamics, helping to shape the company\'s long-term direction and success.
Enhance brand awareness and visibility within key accounts by implementing targeted marketing initiatives and promotional activities, ensuring that the company\'s brand stands out in the market and resonates with consumers.
