Minimum Requirements
Be a Kenyan citizen
diploma in mortuary science
KCSE D (Plain) complete a period of apprenticeship, and pass a licensing exam
Be a member of a registered funeral professional association
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong English and Swahili language skills
Training in embalming and grief counseling. Proficiency in computer skills
Duties and Responsibilities
Collecting and receiving bodies within the hospital and outside through the prescribedprocedures.
Recording bodies received.
Washing the bodies, embalming, and refrigeration.
Scrubbing and assisting in post mortems.
Counselling the relatives.
Releasing the bodies to the relatives as per the laid procedures'
