Requirements
University degree or advanced studies in International Relations, Law, Political Science, Environmental Studies, or related fields.
Fluency in English, both oral and written.
Previous experience in international organizations and/or diplomatic missions is desirable.
Knowledge of Spanish and/or Swahili is considered an advantage.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in Kenya at the time of application.
Main Responsibilities
Provide substantive support to the Mission's multilateral agenda.
Monitor meetings, negotiations, and processes within UNEP and UN-Habitat.
Prepare background notes, briefs, matrices, talking points and reports.
Support delegations during conferences and high-level meetings.
Coordinate with UN Secretariats, other Permanent Missions, and relevant stakeholders.
Organize and maintain multilateral documentation and institutional records.
Perform other duties as assigned, in accordance with the needs of the Embassy.
