NLP Engineer

Role Overview Design and develop natural language processing solutions to support SRHIN's data analysis, research, and digital health initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop and fine-tune NLP models for text classification, sentiment analysis, information extraction, and related tasks Pre-process and analyse large volumes of unstructured text data (e.g., survey responses, health records, community feedback) Collaborate with the research team to apply NLP techniques to health and social research questions Evaluate and improve model performance and accuracy Document methodologies and maintain reproducible workflows Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field Minimum of 2 years' experience in NLP or related machine learning work Proficiency in Python and NLP libraries/frameworks (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers) Strong understanding of language modelling and text data pipelines Experience applying NLP in health or social science contexts is an advantage
