Key Responsibilities
Take overall charge of the ward/unit during the assigned shift
Coordinate nursing staff and allocate duties effectively
Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
Supervise medication administration and clinical procedures
Manage incidents, escalations, and shift handovers
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards
Liaise with doctors and other departments as required
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Nursing
Valid Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) license
Minimum of 5 years relevant clinical experience
Prior 2 years experience in a supervisory or in-charge role is an added advantage
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills 6) Ability to work flexible shifts at short notice
