What You'll Do

As a Risk & Safety Intern, you will support the implementation and maintenance of our safety and security standards. Your key focus areas will include:


Risk & Security: Assisting with risk assessments, monitoring access control systems, and supporting CCTV upkeep.
Facility Safety: Conducting workplace inspections, monitoring fire safety, and supporting emergency evacuation drills.
Compliance & ISO: Assisting with internal audits, maintaining ISO-related documentation, and updating SOPs.
SHERQ Functions: Participating in incident investigations, conducting toolbox talks, and monitoring PPE compliance.


Who We're Looking For

Education: A Grade 12 certificate plus N6 or Certificate in Risk, Safety, Security, or a related field.
Knowledge: A basic understanding of health and safety regulations, ISO systems, and emergency response procedures.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and a keen eye for detail and reporting.
Attributes: A team player with strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a "safety-first" mindset.
