Role Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and student-focused Overseas Education Counsellor to guide prospective students through every stage of their study-abroad journey.
The successful candidate will provide expert counselling, support university applications, assist with visa processes, and ensure a seamless experience for students pursuing international education opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed counselling sessions to understand students' academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and financial capabilities, providing guidance on study destinations, universities, courses, scholarships, and career opportunities.
Counsel students and parents on admission requirements, future career prospects, tuition fees, living expenses, scholarships, and post-study work opportunities.
Manage inquiries from walk-ins, phone calls, referrals, digital campaigns, seminars, and educational events, while conducting timely follow-ups to convert prospects into applicants and enrolled students.
Assist students in selecting suitable universities and programs based on their academic profiles and career goals.
Guide students through the preparation and submission of applications, including supporting the review of SOPs, LORs, CVs, and other admission documents.
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely application processing, monitor application progress, and communicate updates to students.
Provide guidance on visa documentation, financial requirements, immigration procedures, and interview preparation while ensuring compliance with university and immigration regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners, providing continuous support throughout the admission and visa process.
Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, school visits, and other promotional events to generate leads, referrals, and business growth opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, follow-ups, applications, and student interactions in the CRM system, and prepare regular performance reports.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
1 - 5 years of experience in Overseas Education Counselling, Student Recruitment, Admissions, or a related field.
Experience handling study destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Ireland, Europe, or Asia is highly preferred.
Strong communication, counselling, sales, and relationship-management skills.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment and manage multiple applications simultaneously.
