Purpose
To support efficient packing operations by ensuring the availability, proper handling, and safekeeping of packing materials, while facilitating the timely packing and dispatch of finished products in line with the company's production and customer service objectives.
The Job
Collect packing materials from the store and ensure their availability for packing operations.
Maintain proper custody and safekeeping of all materials received for use.
Support the effective loading and dispatch of finished products to customers.
Assist in coordinating and supervising packers and loaders to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor packing activities to ensure adherence to required quality standards, including bag weight and stitching quality.
Prepare and maintain relevant operational reports.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
Adhere to Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) requirements and standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
5 O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English/ NABTEB, or Trade Test Grade.
NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) in a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in a manufacturing, production, warehousing, or packing environment.
The Person Must:
Be organized and able to manage materials efficiently.
Have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
Demonstrate good attention to detail, particularly in packing quality and inventory handling.
Possess good communication and teamwork skills.
Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
