In this position you will
Build productive working relationships with fellow employees through clear communications.
Assist Service Technicians in determining parts requirements.
Maintains positive working relationships with vendors and staff.
Inform customers when special order parts have arrived
Provide Technician with necessary parts with minimal wait time; uses pre-picking parts when applicable (e.g., when customer is coming in for recall part or scheduled service interval).
Apply retailing techniques to sell and display parts and accessories.
Coordinate with Service Department, Sales Department, Body Shop, and others to ensure that parts requests are met.
Identify and supports opportunities for methods/process improvement in the Parts Department.
Use parts resources (catalogues) to acquire information on parts and accessories inventory.
Maintain tight control over parts inventory to increase efficiency and eliminate customer delays.
Makes full use of inventory allowances to keep idle and obsolete inventory to a minimum
Maintain a proper filing system for all paperwork corresponding to repair orders, special orders, back orders, etc.
Receive and answer customer enquiries on parts and making follow up for sale.
Keep up to date with New Holland and competitor products and rates.
Placing special orders and making follow up for sale.
Upselling parts whenever serving customers.
Actively participating in promotions that the company may organize.
Evaluate parts accounts, prospects and ensure customer loyalty.
Execute sales growth strategies monthly and quarterly for parts sales.
Mapping of regions according to their parts, purchasing capabilities and preparation of a detailed visit plan.
About You
To be successful in this role, you would need:
Minimum bachelor's degree holder in a business-related field
2 years' Experience in agricultural machinery parts sales with notable sales record
Customer service training will be an added advantage
Strong Customer focus
Valid Driving License
High level of accuracy and attention to detail essential
Ability to meet deadlines and to work autonomously and as part of a team
