Job Description
Process payroll accurately and ensure timely salary payments
Maintain proper books of accounts, financial records, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and deployment expense records
Prepare bank reconciliations, financial reports, and account summaries for management review
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including client billing, contract payments, and vendor reconciliations
Monitor company expenses and financial transactions
Prepare and file statutory deductions and tax returns including VAT, PAYE, pension, and WHT
Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Support audit processes and liaise with banks, auditors, clients, and regulatory agencies when required
Maintain proper documentation and secure filing of accounting records
Track attendance records, salary schedules, and field staff payment documentation
Requirements
HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll and accounting functions, preferably in a security or service-based company
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, payroll processing, and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and record management
Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple payroll schedules effectively

Professional accounting certification or training
Experience with payroll management systems and large workforce administration
Previous experience in the security industry or workforce management environment
