Job Summary:

The Personal Assistant to the Managing Director provides high-level, strategic, and administrative support to ensure the MD's daily activities run efficiently. This role requires a highly proactive, detail-oriented, and resilient individual who can manage pressure, prioritize effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Support


Manage the MD's calendar, appointments, and daily schedule with precision.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure timely follow-ups on action points.
Screen calls, emails, and requests, ensuring proper prioritization.


Coordination & Follow-Up


Track tasks, assignments, and directives issued by the MD across departments.
Follow up with team members to ensure timely execution and accountability.
Provide regular updates to the MD on progress, delays, and pending items.


Communication Management


Act as a liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.
Draft professional correspondence and ensure clear communication of directives.
Ensure instructions from the MD are properly understood and executed.


Operational Support


Support the MD in monitoring business operations and key activities.
Assist in coordinating projects, meetings, and management engagements.
Ensure alignment between the MD's directives and execution by teams.


Confidentiality & Discretion


Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
Maintain professionalism and composure at all times.


Requirements:


Minimum of B.Sc./HND in Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of 3 - 6 years' experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant to senior leadership.
Proven experience supporting high-demand executives in fast-paced environments.
Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
Ability to work under pressure, handle direct feedback, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
