Job Summary:
The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, stock movement, and proper storage of materials within Uncle Stan's Foods. The role also involves accompanying deliveries to outlets to ensure accurate distribution, proper handover, and accountability of all items supplied.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
Receive, inspect, and record all incoming stock and materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels at all times.
Ensure proper storage and organization of items in the store.
Stock Control & Monitoring
Track stock movement, issuance, and usage across outlets and production.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or low stock promptly.
Prevent wastage, damage, or loss of inventory.
Delivery & Distribution
Accompany delivery of supplies to outlets.
Ensure correct quantities and items are delivered as issued.
Confirm proper handover and acknowledgment of stock at each outlet.
Report any discrepancies during delivery immediately.
Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain proper documentation for all stock transactions (inward and outward).
Ensure all issued stock is properly recorded and authorized.
Keep accurate logs of items dispatched to each outlet.
Reconciliation & Reporting
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.
Report discrepancies, shortages, or inconsistencies.
Work with the Accountant and Auditor during stock checks.
Compliance & Organization
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Follow company procedures for handling, storing, and issuing items.
Requirements:
Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in a relevant field.
Minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in QSR, FMCG, or retail.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
Ability to handle both store operations and physical delivery activities.
Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an added advantage.
High level of integrity and accountability.
