Key Responsibilities
Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and hospital guidelines.
Provide proper counseling to patients on medication use, dosage, and possible side effects.
Ensure safe storage, handling, and inventory management of pharmaceuticals.
Maintain accurate dispensing records and documentation.
Monitor drug expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
Adhere to pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and infection prevention standards.
Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology.
Valid registration and practicing license with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and customer care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
