Key Responsibilities
Receive, register, and guide patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
Manage patient appointments, admissions, and discharge processes.
Handle patient billing, invoicing, and payment processing accurately.
Process and verify SHA and private insurance documentation, approvals, and claims.
Maintain accurate patient records and update hospital information systems.
Respond to telephone calls, emails, and general inquiries promptly.
Coordinate effectively with clinical and administrative departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Front Office Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a receptionist in a hospital or healthcare facility.
Proven knowledge of SHA and private insurance operations.
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Computer literate with experience in hospital management systems.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
