Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team.
This role offers hands-on experience in a professional pharmacy setting, supporting pharmacists in delivering safe, accurate, and friendly patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with receiving, sorting, and dispensing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
Support inventory management, including stock checks, expiry-date monitoring, and product shelving.
Help maintain accurate patient and prescription records.
Provide courteous customer service and direct clients to the pharmacist when clinical advice is needed.
Assist with preparing non-sterile products and packaging medicines, where permitted.
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant pharmacy environment.
Support health-promotion activities and other day-to-day pharmacy operations.
Qualifications and Skills
Recently graduated from an accredited pharmacy programme.
Eligibility to complete an internship in line with local pharmacy regulatory requirements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work well in a team and follow professional instructions.
Basic knowledge of pharmacy practice, medicines, and confidentiality requirements.
Proficiency with basic computer applications is an advantage.
