Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our community pharmacy team.
The successful candidate will support the pharmacist in dispensing medications, attending to customers, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂàAssist the pharmacist with dispensing and preparing medications according to prescriptions and established procedures.
Receive, review, and accurately process prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist.
Attend to customers professionally and provide basic information about medications as directed by the pharmacist.
Receive, arrange, label, and store medicines and other pharmacy products appropriately.
Monitor stock levels and identify products that are low, expired, damaged, or close to their expiry dates.
Requirements
ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂàMinimum of an OND/HND in Pharmacy Technician studies or a relevant pharmacy technician qualification.
ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂàMust be licensed/registered with the appropriate regulatory body where applicable.
Previous experience in a community pharmacy is an advantage.
ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂàGood knowledge of common medications and pharmacy procedures.
Good customer service and communication skills.
