We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies.
The ideal candidate must possess strong negotiation, inventory management, and vendor relationship skills, with experience in procurement within a pharmacy, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Source and procure pharmaceutical products and medical supplies from approved vendors.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely stock replenishment.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant pharmaceutical regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure efficient supply operations.
Requirements
The following Requirements will be strictly folllowd:
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CIPSMN) is an advantage.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management in a healthcare/pharmaceutical sector.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/procurement management systems.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Should be available to resume within the next 2-3 weeks.
