Responsibilities
Pharmacy Operations:
Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with prescriptions and established procedures.
Receive, verify, label, package, and organize medications and other pharmaceutical products.
Provide customers with appropriate information on medication usage as directed by the pharmacist.
Refer clinical or medication-related questions to the supervising pharmacist.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
Inventory & Stock Management:
Monitor stock levels and identify products that require replenishment.
Receive and properly store medications and pharmaceutical products.
Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation using appropriate inventory practices.
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with periodic stock counts.
Report damaged, expired, missing, or low-stock items to the pharmacist or pharmacy manager.
Assist in preventing stock losses and discrepancies.
Customer Service:
Attend to customers professionally and courteously.
Assist customers with locating products and provide general product information within the scope of the role.
Process customer orders and transactions accurately.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints appropriately and escalate issues when necessary.
Maintain a positive and welcoming customer experience.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, sales, inventory, and other relevant pharmacy activities.
Follow pharmacy policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Ensure proper handling and storage of pharmaceutical products.
Support the pharmacist with documentation and routine administrative duties.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and patient information.
