The Portfolio Sales Professional is responsible for planning and executing sales strategies to achieve defined commercial targets. This role focuses on driving growth by leveraging specialized product knowledge and building strong relationships with EPCM firms, OEMs, partners, and end customers across Africa. Key responsibilities include:


Sales Growth & Market Development


Expand the Innomotics installed base through EPCM, OEM, partners, and end customers.
Position Innomotics as the preferred partner for key stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with portfolio offerings.


Planning & Analysis


Develop sales plans and forecasts using CRM tools.
Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.


Customer Engagement


Build and maintain a strong customer network.
Prepare and negotiate proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive service.


Reporting & Administration


Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and handover documentation.
Ensure compliance with company processes and approval guidelines.


Collaboration & Communication


Share relevant information across teams and stakeholders.
Use consultative selling techniques to deliver value-added solutions.
Foster relationships within the global Innomotics organization to support cross-regional opportunities.


Your Profile


Relevant tertiary degree, preferably in Engineering (Electrical) or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in account management or technical sales, with a strong focus on external sales.
Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and build long-term customer relationships.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Deep understanding of sales processes and consultative selling.
Ability to develop effective, fact based value propositions as a sales tool
Ability to analyse market trends and customer requirements.
Proficiency in CRM systems and related tools.
Knowledge of technical, economic, and social trends impacting target industries.
