Role Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Primary Sales Representative to drive primary sales performance, manage distributor operations, and ensure consistent product availability across assigned territories.
The ideal candidate must understand FMCG sales dynamics, distributor management, and route-to-market execution, and be willing to travel within the assigned state to achieve sales targets and strengthen market presence.


Key Responsibilities


Drive primary sales through effective distributor and route-to-market management.
Ensure optimal stock levels at distributor warehouses to prevent stockouts.
Support distributors with stock depletion strategies and route execution.
Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs consistently.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing structures, providing actionable insights.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales performance reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and operational procedures.
Provide field feedback to support sales strategy and promotional planning.


Qualifications & Requirements


Minimum of HND or BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
2 - 4 years' experience in FMCG primary sales, distributor management, or route-to-market operations.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple distributors and sales routes.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned state.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence trade partners.
