Description
The Principal is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Richmond, TX, responsible for the overall academic, operational, and cultural direction of the school.
Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising teaching and support staff, guiding curriculum implementation, and ensuring that learning experiences align with the school's holistic development philosophy.
The Principal will monitor student performance, uphold academic standards, and promote a safe, inclusive, and values-driven learning environment.
Additional duties include managing budgets and resources, engaging with families and the broader community, overseeing admissions and enrollment processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant education policies and regulations.
The Principal will also lead school improvement initiatives, support professional development for staff, and represent the institution in external partnerships.
Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree with 8 - 15 years experience.
Demonstrated experience in school leadership or educational administration, including managing staff, overseeing curriculum, and driving academic outcomes.
Strong skills in instructional leadership, including mentoring educators, implementing teaching best practices, and promoting continuous improvement in pedagogy.
Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, staff, and community stakeholders.
Capability in organizational and operational management, including budgeting, resource allocation, scheduling, and compliance with education standards and regulations.
Commitment to holistic student development, including moral, cultural, social, and emotional growth, and the integration of technology into learning.
Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field; appropriate licensure or certification is an advantage.
Proven ability to foster an inclusive, non-discriminatory school culture that supports diversity, equity, and safe learning environments.
Prior experience in curriculum planning, assessment design, and data-driven decision-making to support student success.
High level of integrity, sound judgment, and resilience, with the ability to handle complex situations and lead through change.
