Job Summary


The Procurement/Maintenance Officer would be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing goods and services required by the organization.
The role ensures cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations; inclusive of facilities maintenance of the organization, responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing facilities and equipment to ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and minimal downtime.


Key Responsibilities


Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, and delivery speed
Prepare and process purchase orders and contracts
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast needs
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentations
Evaluate suppliers/vendors performance and manage relationships
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal requirements
Conduct open market research to explore price options and cost-saving opportunities
Handle procurement-related issues and resolve discrepancies
Ensure proper functioning of lighting, water supply, power systems, vehicle maintenance and air conditioners.
Monitor building conditions and recommend improvements
Conduct routine inspections on official vehicles, machines, equipment etc
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all assets
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.


Qualifications & Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Management or any related field.
4 - 7 years of relevant experience in Procurement roles.
Proven experience in procurement, purchasing & maintenance
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good analytical and organizational abilities
Understanding of contract management and supplier /maintenance evaluation
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Must have work in a good organization on similar role.
Male preferable, ages from 27 - 37 years old
Must reside around Ikeja, Ojota, Ketu and its environs.
