Duties / Responsibilities
Prepare proposals, request RFQs, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
Source reliable vendors for materials, services, and equipment
Review, compare, analyze, and recommend products and services to be purchased
Monitor suppliers\' performance and resolve issues and concerns
Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings
Analyze industry and demand trends, and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts
Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
Requirements / Skills
B.Sc / HND in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
At least 2 years of experience in foreign and domestic procurement in an oil and gas servicing firm
Knowledge of oilfield equipment, materials, and service contracts.
Familiarity with NIPEX and Nigerian Content requirements is an added advantage.
Strong data collection and analysis skills.
