The Role:

A strategic and detail-driven professional responsible for managing sourcing, vendor relationships, and procurement processes to ensure timely availability of materials, cost efficiency, and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities:


Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in line with company needs
Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships and performance
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost efficiency
Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production and site operations
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations to prevent shortages
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approvals
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Conduct market research to identify reliable suppliers and cost-saving opportunities


Requirements:


B.Sc/HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Professional certification (CIPS or equivalent) is an added advantage
Minimum of 4 - 6 years relevant experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or batching plant operations
Strong knowledge of local sourcing and vendor networks within Abuja and surrounding areas


Technical Skills


Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management
Knowledge of contract management and vendor negotiation
Ability to analyze pricing and cost structures

Physical & Other Requirements


Willingness to work onsite and visit vendor locations when required
