Role description:


The Product Development & Solutions Specialist is responsible for developing new cross-border tax and compliance products while supporting the commercial team with deal structuring and the design of complex client solutions.
This role bridges research, product development and client engagement. The successful candidate will identify new opportunities, develop commercially viable solutions involving international tax, VAT, customs, accounting and corporate structures, and work directly with Sales and Client Success teams to help clients navigate complex global supply chain and tax challenges. A key part of the role involves working with local legal,
tax and accounting advisors to understand each market's regulatory landscape and, where required, applying to local revenue authorities for special rulings.
The role requires someone technically strong enough to conduct detailed tax and compliance research and build practical products, yet equally comfortable presenting those solutions to senior client stakeholders. Success is measured not only by developing innovative products, but by ensuring those products can be
successfully implemented to win and deliver client business. Qualifications and Experience:


Excellent academic results at both high school and university level
Degree in Accounting, Tax, Law, Finance, Economics or another business-related discipline
Professional qualification (CA(SA), ACA, CPA, CTA, LLB, or similar) advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in working under pressure with deadlines
Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business problems and develop practical commercial solutions
