As a Product Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert for a specific product or product category within the organization. Your role will involve in-depth knowledge of the product & features, benefits, and market positioning. You will support sales, marketing, and customer service teams by providing expertise, training, and guidance to ensure the successful promotion and sale of the product.

Job Details


Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the assigned product or product category, including its features, functionalities, and unique selling points.
Collaborate with the sales team to provide product expertise during customer interactions, sales presentations, and product demonstrations.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product improvement or expansion.
Create and deliver training materials and presentations to educate internal teams, distributors, and customers about the product's value proposition.
Assist in resolving customer inquiries, technical issues, and product-related challenges, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Work with marketing teams to develop product positioning strategies, messaging, and marketing collateral that effectively communicate the product's value to the target audience.
Participate in product launches by providing input on launch plans, promotional activities, and pricing strategies.
Collect feedback from customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to identify areas for product enhancement and improvement.
Maintain up-to-date product documentation, including user manuals, FAQs, and technical specifications.
Analyze sales data and performance metrics related to the product, providing insights and recommendations for sales strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure product success.


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, marketing, engineering, etc.).
Proven experience in a product specialist or product management role, preferably within the specific
industry or product category.
Strong product knowledge and technical understanding of the assigned product.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Analytical mindset and the ability to use data for decision-making.
Customer-centric approach and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and cross-functional environment.
Knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software required.
Good understanding of networking.
