We are seeking a Production Manager for a permanent vacancy based in Tshwane, Gauteng


Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:


Degree in Production or Operations management
5+ years' experience in automotive manufacturing
5+ Years' experience in a management role related to automotive manufacturing
Strong knowledge of automated production systems and robotics.
Lean Manufacturing Principles; Computer Literacy focus on MS Excel
IATF 16949 Std; Management principles
Leadership principles; Total Quality Management
Quality Core Tools; Supply Chain principles
Measurement Analysis; Quality specifications and systems
Lean Manufacturing principles


Skills required


Manufacturing process
Report writing and presentation skills
Planning and organising; Production planning process
Quality specifications and systems; Discipline and grievance procedure
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Technical understanding of automation regarding presses and assembly cells
Developing, Implementing and Controlling KPI's; Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Communication and team engagement; High attention to detail and quality focus
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
