Job Purpose
The Program Officer will lead day-to-day implementation of the project, coordinating activities and participants, managing partner engagement, supporting monitoring and reporting, and ensuring timely delivery of all project outputs and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day planning, coordination and delivery of project activities across Abuja, Lagos, Kaduna and partner states.
Coordinate participants and stakeholders for workshops, training and closeout events, including logistics, invitations and attendance tracking.
Manage relationships with partner organizations, state-level contacts and community stakeholders engaged in the project.
Support the design and rollout of project activities in line with the approved workplan and budget.
Monitor project implementation against the workplan, track outputs and outcomes, and flag risks or delays to the Executive Director.
Draft narrative reports, activity reports and other documentation required for donor reporting.
Work closely with the Head of Finance and Administration on activity budgets, expense tracking and supporting documentation for procurement and reimbursements.
Work closely with the Admin Assistant on day-to-day activity logistics and documentation.
Represent LEGIS360 at relevant meetings, workshops and stakeholder forums as required.
Ensure all activities are implemented in compliance with donor requirements and LEGIS360 policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, Law or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in program or project coordination, preferably within a civil society or donor-funded environment.
Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-state or multi-stakeholder activities, including workshops and training.
Familiarity with donor grant management, monitoring and reporting requirements is an advantage.
Strong proposal writing skill is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of civic space, governance or advocacy issues in Nigeria.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration tools.
Willingness and ability to travel within Nigeria as required by the project.
High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
