TBSF in partnership with UNMAS is implementing a Mine Action project with vulnerable and at-risk communities. in line with this, TBSF is seeking to recruit The Program Coordinator is a senior role within The Big Smile Foundation. The role includes managing the programme team, providing technical, operational and administrative support, implementing activities, building capacity, and managing the programme budget and finances, support donor engagement, proposal development and resource mobilization. The role also provides strategic direction to help ensure the programme achieves its goal and intended outcomes, ensuring program meets TBSF goals and standard.
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibility
Functions / Day to day activities:
Program Implementation & Monitoring: Coordinate day-to-day program activities, ensuring project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met according to work plans.
Stakeholder & Field Coordination: Serve as a primary focal point for field teams, partners, community leadership, and relevant government or sectoral bodies.
Reporting & Documentation: Lead the drafting and aggregation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity reports, donor progress summaries, and case studies.
Resource & Financial Tracking: Work closely with finance and operations to track budget burn rates, monitor activity expenditure, and manage logistics/procurement requests for field deployment.
Team & Workplan Supervision: Supervise field officers or project assistants, ensuring clear task delegation and alignment with organizational guidelines.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in project management, International Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 4 - 6 years of demonstrated experience in project coordination, grant implementation, or program support, donor and stake holder engagement
Experience in humanitarian or non-profit sectors preferred
Desirable skills:
Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office/Google Workspace, and data tracking software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, proposal development.
Excellent planning, organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with local operating environments and community engagement practices.
