About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Supervisor to join our Projects & Technical Services team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating construction chemical application projects, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
The role requires hands-on experience in managing site operations involving waterproofing, industrial flooring, concrete repair, protective coatings, grouting, sealants, and other specialty construction chemical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily site operations and project execution activities.
Ensure proper application of construction chemical products in accordance with technical specifications and approved method statements.
Coordinate project resources including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
Verify surface preparation, application procedures, and material consumption rates.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
Manage contractors, applicators, and site personnel to achieve project objectives.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
Conduct site measurements and support project billing and valuation activities.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or HND qualificatiom in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Professional certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
5 - 7years of experience in project supervision within the construction, engineering, or construction chemicals industry.
Practical experience in one or more of the following:
Waterproofing systems.
Industrial flooring systems.
Concrete repair and strengthening.
Protective coatings.
Grouting and anchoring systems.
Sealants and joint treatment systems.
Technical Competencies:
Strong knowledge of construction chemical products and application procedures.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures.
Project planning and coordination skills.
Material estimation and reconciliation experience.
