Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities Work with the Project Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, from design and planning to execution and completion, ensuring it meets specified requirements, deadlines, and budget. Ensuring technical specifications are met. Working with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and coordination. Identifying technical issues and reporting to the Project Manager, ensuring timely solutions to project challenges. Ensuring that all project work is completed correctly, on time, and according to approved plans. Supervises project activities, resources, and schedules, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion. Assist in procuring materials, equipment, and services required for project execution, soliciting bids, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, sub-contractors, vendors, assisting with problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making as needed. Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders, preparing progress reports, presentations, and documentation as required. Project Documentation: Reports, Scope of Work, Work Method Statement, work breakdown schedule, Work execution plan, Timesheets, Budget plans, Resources plan etc. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Management, Project Management, or related field. 3 - 6years experience in project coordination or engineering project management. Experience working in a mechanical engineering, construction, manufacturing, or technical services environment is an advantage.
