Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Engineering Manager with work locations across project sites in Lagos, this role combines office-based work with remote work flexibility.
The Project Engineering Manager is to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the successful delivery of capital projects in the oil and gas sector.
The role is responsible for overseeing the technical integrity, engineering execution, and integration of all engineering disciplines across the full project lifecycle from concept/FEED through detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, company policies, and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) principle.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline); Master's degree or professional certification is an advantage.
Minimum 12 - 15 years of relevant experience in oil & gas projects, with at least 5 - 8 years in a supervisory / managerial engineering role on major EPC or brownfield projects
Proven track record delivering complex oil & gas facilities (onshore/offshore production facilities, gas plants, pipelines, or similar.
Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle and EPC contractingmodes.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in matrix organizations and managing engineering subcontract
