Job Description
AMI is hiring a highly driven and execution-focused Project Lead to lead the delivery of the CAYACC Program. This role will be responsible for translating program strategy into high-quality execution, ensuring strong coordination across partners, effective delivery on the ground, and robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
The Project Lead will sit at the center of program implementation—owning planning, delivery, stakeholder engagement, and performance tracking—while working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure impact at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments and is comfortable balancing strategy with execution.

They are highly organized, data-driven, and able to manage complexity across multiple stakeholders and geographies. Key Responsibilities
Program Strategy, Planning & Delivery
Lead the planning and execution of the CAYACC program, translating strategic objectives into clear workplans, timelines, and deliverables
Ensure high-quality implementation of program activities across regions, aligned to agreed priorities and outcomes
Track program progress against targets, proactively identifying risks and driving corrective action
Field Execution & Coordination
Oversee coordination of field activities across program locations, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery
Support implementation teams and partners in delivering program interventions effectively
Maintain visibility of field operations through structured check-ins, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms
Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Manage relationships with key partners, including implementing organizations, technical partners, and ecosystem stakeholders
Coordinate joint planning and execution with partners, ensuring alignment on roles, expectations, and deliverables
Represent the program in stakeholder engagements and external forums where required
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)
Drive results-based management across the program, ensuring clear tracking of outputs, outcomes, and impact
Oversee data collection, validation, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and integrity
Translate program insights into actionable improvements, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation
Performance Management & Accountability
Track delivery against program KPIs, budgets, and timelines
Establish clear reporting structures and accountability mechanisms across teams and partners
Lead regular performance reviews and ensure follow-through on actions and commitments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams (programs, MEL, finance, operations) to ensure coordinated delivery and compliance
Contribute to organizational learning, systems improvement, and program design enhancements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage)
6+ years of experience managing or coordinating development programs, preferably in youth, agriculture, climate, or entrepreneurship sectors
Demonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder programs and partnerships
Strong experience in program planning, delivery, and monitoring
Experience working in regional or multi-country programs is an advantage
